During the construction of a repair depot for Sapsan trains, the main difficulties were the space-limited environment, tight time frames and parallel work with the Customer's direct contractors. When solving these problems, STEP constantly and intensively interacted with the Customer.

STEP performed design and survey work, development of permission documentation, general contracting work for the construction of a pharmaceutical production complex.

The main difficulty was in performing work in conditions of changes in technical solutions: the ability of the General Contractor to respond quickly and effectively, to make changes to the project were important. The Cement Briquetting Plant is situated close to the existing factory buildings and the project required close liaison with the factory particularly in respect to the many engineering networks in the area.

Contractor had to allow the erection of process equipment inside the building during construction, which combined with the usual winter conditions meant very close co-ordination and co-operation with the German equipment supplier.

During the construction period, STEP carried out several additional works in connection with the plant which substantially increased the overall Contract Value.

During the construction of the tailings treatment complex of the Karelsky Okatysh MPP, STEP performed the installation of bored piles, fabrication and installation of the supporting metal structures of the complex, as well as assembly and installation of equipment for two OUTOTEC thickeners with a diameter of 36.5 meters.

During the construction of the concentrate shipment unit as part of the concentration plant at the site of Kola MMC located in Zapolyarny, the company carried out a full range of construction and installation and commissioning works, as well as transfer of the facility to the plant's operation services.
