For the Yakovlevsky mining and processing plant STEP developed and built an Iron Ore Drying Complex, and also designed a project for a system for transporting ore from the warehouse to loading into wagons.

The drying complex will reduce the moisture content of the ore from 12% to 1.5-2.5%, thereby solve the issue of transporting ore in the winter season.

Bystrinsky Mining and Processing Plant — one of the largest greenfield projects, built in record time in 3.5 years in the hard-to-reach area of the Gazimuro-Zavodskoy district of the Zabaikalsky Krai.

Within the scope of the signed EPC contract, STEP constructed a new drying station for magnetite concentrate to be added to Bystrinsky Mining and Processing Plant. The contract included development of all engineering and technical documentation, supply and installation of equipment, commissioning and start-up services.

Construction at the Belaya Gora gold ore deposit, located in the Khabarovsky Krai, began in the winter of 2012 with logging, and after 24 months the first gravity concentrate was obtained.
